Hardware Switch — Recording Modes
TicNote Standard has a physical switch on the side that changes the microphone mode:| Switch Position | Mode | Best For |

| Speaker | Captures the room / external environment | Meetings, lectures, interviews |
| Earpiece | Captures your phone calls via earpiece mic | Phone conversations |
TicNote Lite does not have this switch — it has a single recording mode.
Conseils
- Battery: Check level in the app; the OLED shows charging status
- Offline mode: Records without phone nearby; syncs automatically when reconnected
- Reset: Hold power button 15 s to reboot (no data loss)
- Magnetic attachment: Slide TicNote onto the magnetic ring on your phone case
