Two Hardware Modes
TicNote Standard uses a physical side switch to select between two recording modes. This is a hardware-level change — no app setting required.Speaker Mode
Switch position: Speaker The microphone array is optimized for capturing audio from the surrounding environment. Best for:- Conference room meetings
- Lectures and seminars
- Group interviews
- Field recording
Earpiece Mode
Switch position: Earpiece The microphone is repositioned to capture audio through the earpiece speaker of your phone during a phone call. Best for:- Recording phone conversations
- VoIP calls (WhatsApp, WeChat, Zoom audio)
- Interview calls
Place TicNote against your phone in the usual way and hold the phone to your ear. TicNote captures both sides of the call.
