Setup & Pairing

  1. Install the TicNote app (App Store or Google Play)
  2. Press power button 0.5 s — OLED shows Bluetooth icon
  3. Tap ”+ Add Device” in the app
  4. Tap your device when it appears
  5. Hold power button 2 s to start your first recording
  • Enable Bluetooth on your phone; keep device within 5 m
  • Long press power button 15 s to reboot, then retry
It selects the recording mode: Speaker (room/environment) or Earpiece (phone calls). See the Recording Modes page for details.

Audio Quality

  • Keep the device within 1–5 m of the speaking source
  • Make sure nothing is blocking the microphone openings
AI noise reduction runs automatically. For best results, place the device closer to the audio source.

Hardware & Charging

  • Use the included proprietary magnetic cable — standard USB-C won’t work
  • Check the magnetic pins for debris
Long press the power button for 15 seconds. No recordings are deleted.
TicNote stays in low-power standby (20+ days). This is by design — always ready to record.

Data & Privacy

TXT (transcript), Markdown (summary), PNG (mind map), Ogg (audio).
Data is stored on US cloud infrastructure and never used for AI model training.
Real-time transcription: 17 languages + 27 Chinese dialects. Post-recording translation: 120+ languages.
