# Download the App

> Install TicNote on iOS or Android and create your account.

## Download TicNote

TicNote is available on both major mobile platforms. The app is your control center for all recordings, AI features, and settings.

## Create Your Account

1. Open the TicNote app
2. Tap **"Sign Up"**
3. Choose sign-up method:
   * **Email** — enter your email and set a password
   * **Sign in with Apple** (iOS)
   * **Sign in with Google**
4. Verify your email if prompted
5. You're in! Free plan starts with **300 minutes/month**

  Binding a TicNote hardware device to your account grants an additional **300 bonus minutes/month** (total 600 free minutes).

## Web Access

You can also access TicNote from any browser:

The web interface (TicNote Cloud) offers additional features for power users:

* Full **Shadow AI** project workspace
* Multi-file cross-analysis
* PDF / Web Presentation / Podcast generation
* Team collaboration

  The mobile app is best for recording on the go. Use TicNote Cloud at your desk for deep AI work and deliverable generation.

## App Permissions

When you first open the app, grant these permissions for full functionality:

| Permission             | Why it's needed                               |
| ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| **Bluetooth**          | Connects to your TicNote device               |
| **Location** (Android) | Required by Android for Bluetooth scanning    |
| **Notifications**      | Alerts when transcription or sync is complete |

On **iOS**, go to **Settings → TicNote** to review or change permissions at any time.

## Keep the App Updated

TicNote releases regular updates with AI improvements and bug fixes. Enable **automatic updates** in your App Store / Play Store settings to stay current.
